One threshold for every destination
An order can reach the minimum and still have a delivery cost that is too expensive to absorb.
A high-value order is not always a profitable order. MarginShip considers the cart after discounts and the actual delivery cost before unlocking free shipping.
A fixed minimum ignores discounts, products with different margins, expensive destinations, and orders split into multiple deliveries. That is where a campaign designed to grow sales can start consuming profit.

Coupons, product promotions, and free shipping can add up to more benefit than your margin supports.
Heavy, low-margin, gift-card, or separately fulfilled items can trigger free shipping.
When several options exist, subsidizing a more expensive service makes little sense.
An invisible goal motivates no one — and an inaccurate progress bar creates checkout frustration.
When a cart does not receive the benefit, operations need an objective explanation.
No manual regional tables and no rule builder that becomes hard to maintain.
Set an optional minimum value, maximum shipping percentage, promotional cap, and exclusions. The rule remains inactive while you configure it.
It uses the eligible subtotal after discounts, analyzes every delivery group, and checks the option available at checkout.
The order can advance through the configured minimum value or when shipping is at or below the allowed percentage of the eligible subtotal.
Even after qualifying, existing discounts + shipping must remain inside the merchant's configured cap. It can be set from 0% to the current 15% safety maximum.
The progress bar follows the live cart subtotal. Merchants can customize English, Portuguese, and Spanish messages on the cart page or compatible cart drawers.
Copy, colors, and placement can follow your storefront theme.
Runs at checkout and preserves the simple V1 workflow.
Includes product/order discounts and delivery benefit. The merchant chooses any value from 0% to the 15% safety maximum.
For split orders, each group is evaluated and only its cheapest eligible option is discounted.
Selected items do not count toward eligible subtotal or trigger the benefit improperly.
Safe English, Portuguese, and Spanish defaults, fully customizable by the merchant.
Without reliable data, compatible currency, or a proven rate, the app never invents an advantage.
See orders served, associated order value, free-shipping benefit, and recent activity without claiming that the app alone generated a sale.
Test identified products, quantities, destination, discount codes, groups, and options returned by Shopify. Enter a lower checkout quote when a carrier exposes it only there.
See qualification, shipping ratio, cap, reason, and selected option in one diagnostic.
Growth creates only an ephemeral cart to query what Shopify's Storefront API returns. Some carrier apps expose additional rates only at checkout, so the checker also lets the merchant enter that checkout quote explicitly. It does not create an order, begin payment, or store the address.
Not enough rate evidence? The result is inconclusive. MarginShip never invents a carrier, price, or eligibility.
You pay more only when your operation needs advanced tools to test and explain decisions.
