1. Operator and acceptance
MarginShip is operated by PRX COMERCIO DE PERFUMES E COSMETICOS LTDA, Brazil. By installing, subscribing to or using MarginShip, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a business, you represent that you can accept them for that business.
2. The service
MarginShip provides Shopify merchants with configurable free-shipping rules. An order can qualify through an optional order threshold or shipping-cost ratio, subject to a combined promotional-benefit cap. Merchants can exclude products or collections and show customizable cart progress and status messages. Growth and Scale add an ephemeral simulator based on Shopify-returned delivery data; Scale adds an auditable decision trace. When eligibility cannot be validated safely, normal shipping remains charged.
3. Shopify account and eligibility
You need a Shopify store and permission to install and configure the app. Your use of Shopify, carriers, themes, shipping-rate providers, payment methods and third-party apps remains subject to those services' terms and technical behavior.
4. Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for selecting appropriate rule values, reviewing saved settings before activation, testing your real shipping and discount combinations, and ensuring storefront claims match the result in Shopify Checkout. MarginShip does not guarantee a profit margin, conversion rate, carrier availability or commercial result.
5. Plans, trial and billing
Essential is US$4.90/month or US$47.04/year, Growth is US$9.90/month or US$95.04/year, and Scale is US$14.90/month or US$143.04/year. Each plan includes a 15-day trial. Billing is managed in USD through Shopify App Pricing. MarginShip does not collect or store payment-card details.
6. Plan changes, cancellation and refunds
Merchants can change plans through Shopify App Pricing. You can stop future cycles by uninstalling MarginShip. A charge already generated or pending on a Shopify invoice might remain. Refund and credit requests are reviewed by MarginShip and, when approved, processed using Shopify's available mechanisms. Contact support@marginship.com.
7. Availability and updates
We aim to keep the service reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Shopify, carriers, third-party apps, network providers and hosting services can affect availability or results. Material pricing changes or changes requiring approval will use Shopify's processes and applicable law.
8. Compatibility and simulation
MarginShip evaluates data made available by Shopify. We do not control carrier rates or how third-party apps expose discounts, payment incentives or delivery methods. Simulator results are informational and can be inconclusive; Shopify Checkout remains authoritative.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use MarginShip to violate law, interfere with the service, gain unauthorized access, bypass Shopify restrictions, probe infrastructure, misuse credentials or reverse engineer the service except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.
10. Intellectual property
MarginShip software, branding, documentation, interface and original content are owned by or licensed to the operator. These Terms grant a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for your Shopify store while access remains authorized.
11. Privacy
Our processing is described in the MarginShip Privacy Policy. Shopify and other providers process information under their own privacy terms.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent allowed by law, MarginShip is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant compatibility with every third-party configuration or any specific financial outcome. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the service. This does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
14. Suspension and termination
You can terminate use by uninstalling the app. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse, non-payment, legal requirements or material violations of these Terms and will provide notice where practical.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, pricing or operational changes. The current version will remain at this URL with its updated date.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory protections in your jurisdiction.
